Tiny and dark and demanding,
She leads us all into her pathways and byways.
"I will go here!", she says.
And you tag along.
She smiles and sings her own words.
"What is she saying?", you think,
"And to whom is she speaking to?"
Her friends, unseen by us,
But so real to her.
We wish we could follow her.
She lives in her dream world awhile
But then comes bounding back into ours
And we reach out to hug.
