In My Garden - Day's End

Day's End
The day's end comes at last.
Tasks are pigeon holed in the desk of night
And weary hands fold themselves beneath the snowy sheet.
The thoughts rush back
And the prayer that came on bended knee
Is breathed again.
Peace seems to be not here.
